The FIFG FootGolf World Cup Japan postponed to 2021

After the discussion of the FIFG Board and Japan FootGolf Association, the FIFG FootGolf World Cup Japan 2020 has been postponed to the year 2021 due to the outbreak of coronavirus COVID-19. During the next few weeks, the FIFG Board will monitor the situation to evaluate all the alternatives. "Due to the world crisis of the coronavirus cases, we Japan FootGolf Association would like to postpone the FootGolf World Cup to the year 2021. The situation has been changing dramatically day by day in the world. Since the Olympic has been postponed to the next year, it would be rational to postpone the FootGolf World Cup to the next year as well. We believe that the most important thing is to keep FootGolf families and all the people in the world safe, healthy, and peace at this moment. We do hope that everybody is trying to be extremely careful in keeping good shapes and conditions during this difficult time. We keep communicating with the boards of FIFG closely and will try to keep all of you updated by watching the situation worldwide as soon as we can. Stay safe and be well," Shinpei Matsuura, President of the JFGA said. We would like to express our deepest sympathies and condolences to all those who have been affected by the virus and sincerely hope that the situation will be resolved as soon as possible and that everyone will be in good health.
